The integration of social media on Thanksgiving is quite seamless and impressive, keeping in mind that not long ago, audience interactions were usually limited to book recipes, calls to relatives and extensive cooking shows.
For those that just want to snuggle in the couch and watch the 85th year Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is getting a technology update by an official mobile app. The Parade app will be available on both iOS and Android for today event, and feature a route map, NYC tips, a wifi hotspot finder and a way to track specific participants in the parade.
Obviously, most of us will be gobbling down some turkey, but what else are we eating? Or at least, what are we talking about eating?
